Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Every Wednesday I will be doing a Miscellaneous Midweek Matter.
This means I get to write about whatever I want!
Today I would like to share one of my poems with you....
A little background: I wrote this poem after my ex-boyfriend and I broke up.
I was confused because before we decided to date we had prayed about it for months and all of our mentors encouraged us it was a good thing.
It really appeared to be something God was doing.
Then it ended five months later when it was clear we were headed in two different directions with our lives. I wasn't mad or angry at God but I was really confused why He would bring us together only to separate us that quickly.
That is what this poem is about....

So this is it,
My feelings drift away in bits.
And here I am,
Letting go of where I have been.
There stands my heart,
Not sure how to play its part.
There stands my heart,
Not sure how to play its part.
Even though I trust in God,
I don't know why he chose this job.
But I am his craft,
My life to display his mighty acts.
So through the pain,
I will trust in his precious name.
Because He is it.
Have you ever felt this way? Confused by the workings of God?
Either God's totally bipolar or his ways are above our ways and his plans are above our plans.
I would venture to say God isn't bipolar.

Oh yes. Confused and the questions why. We know the answer but we still ask.
